These adaptors come with the toggle already attached to one side. You simply put the other hoop through your button, squeeze it closed, and voila!!!! You have a pair of cufflinks. (Buttons must be the type that have a round hook on the back, these will not work with the 4 hole sew on buttons.) Great for antique buttons and you can find an interesting variety at your local fabric shop or cool antique buttons at flea markets and antique shops. They usually have very classy hook backed buttons that make great cufflinks. (Once made, they are a little more difficult to get through the cuffs than regular cufflinks, but worth the extra effort.) - I'm lucky, I have small hands and can put the cufflinks in before I put the shirt on! Many of my favorite pairs I made with these adaptors.
